Need to Go Deeper? Full Stump Removal Process

For most yards, a standard grind is all you need. But if you're building a new structure, pouring a foundation, or need the root mass fully out of the way, we can take the process further.

We grind down to around 15 inches or deeper, then the hole gets cleaned out — either by your crew or by us. Once it's clear, we can grind again and go deeper. That process can be repeated in stages until you've reached the depth your project requires.

If the job calls for the entire root ball to be pulled out of the ground — for a foundation, major excavation, or new construction — that's work for an excavating company with the equipment to rip the stump out entirely. We don't pull stumps from the ground. The one exception is a tree that has already tipped over with the root ball out of the ground — we can handle that. For everything else, we'll be upfront with you: you'll need an excavator, and we're glad to point you in the right direction.
